Fast Flow's CPD programme is designed to help architects, engineers, M&E consultants and building services professionals understand the principles, applications and design requirements of siphonic and pressurised drainage systems. All modules are accredited and delivered by Fast Flow's qualified engineering team.

Module 01
Introduction to Siphonic Drainage Systems
Duration: 1.5 Hours
An introduction to the principles of siphonic drainage — covering the physics of full bore flow, the Bernoulli Energy Equation, system components and the key advantages of siphonic systems over conventional gravity drainage. Suitable for architects and general engineers.
Module 02
Siphonic System Design & Specification
Duration: 2 Hours
A technical deep-dive into siphonic system design — covering hydraulic calculation methodology, pipe sizing, outlet selection, system balancing and specification writing to BS EN 12056. Suitable for M&E engineers and drainage specialists.
Module 03
Pressurised Balcony Drainage — psBalcony™
Duration: 1.5 Hours
Introduction to the psBalcony™ system — covering the challenge of balcony drainage in high-rise residential buildings, how the two-phase pressurised system works, design principles and application examples from completed projects.
Module 04
Green Roof Drainage Design
Duration: 1 Hour
Focused module on drainage considerations for green roof systems — covering substrate types, retention requirements, outlet selection (including the Parco™), and the integration of siphonic drainage with green building certification requirements.
